The Breakwater Church is proud to partner with the non-profit project Water Wells for Africa. Water Wells for Africa (WWFA) is dedicated to providing clean drinking water in the rural villages of Malawi, Africa. Since 1996, WWFA has funded the drilling and construction of deep bore hole water wells in partnership with the Christian Service Committee (CSC), a bore hole drilling company based in Blantyre, Malawi.
WWFA is a volunteer based organization. That means the funds you raise go where they are meant to go- to the villagers. All donations go directly to installing and supporting water wells.
In their first decade of service, WWFA has provided daily water for 150,000 people. Over the next decade, WWFA will be working to install 1,000 new wells throughout central Africa, which can provide up to 2 million people with a sustainable water supply. Their vision is to install enough water wells to promote subsistence water access for generations of Malawians.
