We, the breakwater megachurch, have been partnering with Trader Joe’s for over a decade to distribute food. We have distribution points from San Pedro all the way to East La, West La, Del Rey Hills etc. etc. – we pick up food donations from several of Trader Joe’s locations
Emily Day is a professional volleyball player who hopes to go to the Olympics in 2020 in Tokyo. Emily has joined with “Ace Out Hunger” and Trader Joe’s; for every ace that she makes Trader Joe’s donates $100 to the charity. She made 44 aces and they rounded the donation value up to $5000. The donation has gone to our “Mercy Ministry” – providing food to families throughout our community.
